GATR Global Journal of Business and Social Science Review
Aims and Scope:
GATR Global Journal of Business and Social Science Review (GATR-GJBSSR)
is a business focused, inter-disciplinary, peer-reviewed journal. GATR-GJBSSR mission is to contribute to the building and informing of knowledge in business through the dissemination of empirical and theoretical articles.
GJBSSR seeks to build a knowledge network of academicians, policymakers, and practitioners by establishing a debate, as well as a critical vision of the knowledge in management, accounting, and economics; that provide insightful perspectives on emerging themes in management, accounting, and economics research of value to professional managers and academics, and management cases on contemporary business issues.
GATR Global Journal of Business and Social Science Review encourages interdisciplinary discussion in management, accounting, and economics; -Supports academic activities and actions of public, private, and third sector organizations, with content that contributes to both the academia and the managerial practice.
The content covered in the recent time spans developments in the following areas:
High quality original research in business. Themes include, but are not limited to, management approaches to sustainability, accounting, financial technologies (FinTech), finance, information management, innovation management, strategy, and economics. We welcome papers developed in public, private, or third sector organizations.
Editorial and Peer-review Process:
GATR GJBSSR follows a double-blind peer-review process. Manuscripts deemed suitable for publication are usually sent to reviewers. Authors are encouraged to suggest names of at least three potential reviewers at the time of submission of their manuscript to GATR GJBSSR, but the editors will make the final choice. The editors are not, however, bound by these suggestions.
GATR GJBSSR follow a
double-blind peer-review
process where authors do not know the reviewers and vice versa. Peer review is fundamental to the scientific publication process and the dissemination of sound science.
GATR GJBSSR aspire to select and publish, through

fair.
The journal's reputation depends heavily on the fairness of the peer-review process. Peer reviewers are experts chosen by journal editors to provide written assessments of the
strengths
and
weaknesses
of the written manuscripts with the aim of improving the reporting procedures of research and for identifying the most appropriate and highest quality material for the journal.
Editorial Board:
GATR GJBSSR has an editorial board comprising well-known scholars and experts from the world's leading universities, companies, and business schools. Its goal is to bring the highest quality research to the widest possible audience. The participation of well-known scholars and experts in the editorial board is a guarantee for the successful formation of the publication's trans-national spirit, a contribution to the development of Social Science in Business research on an international scale.
Publication Frequency:
GATR GJBSSR is a quarterly journal (March, June, September and December) that publishes original articles per its scope. The journal publishes in English and welcomes authors from around the world regardless of nationality. The journal accepts submissions made up of original articles with either a deductive and/or inductive approach. The editorial board pursues a transparent policy in relation to the readers. The editorial board welcomes any proposal that concerns the journal's development.
Abstracting and Indexing of the GJBSSR:
The GATR GJBSSR is abstracted in numerous databases and is under the evaluation process of Scopus (Elsevier).
Journal Policy and Ethics:
GATR GJBSSR prohibits an author from submitting the same manuscript for concurrent consideration by two or more publications. It also prohibits the publication of any manuscript which has already been published either in whole or substantial parts elsewhere. It further prohibits the publication of a manuscript that has been published in full portion in Proceedings.
The Global Academy of Training and Research (GATR) Enterprise shows its due care and takes the responsibility of its journal publication to represent the highest in publication ethics. Therefore, all GATR journals and editors of these journals have to abide by the publication ethics. The GATR GJBSSR follows the guidelines and rules of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
Lag time:
The A decision on acceptance or rejection of a manuscript is reached in 2 to 3 months (average 10 weeks). The elapsed time from submission to publication for the articles averages 4-5 months.
Authorship:
Authors are not permitted to add or remove any names from the authorship provided at the time of initial submission without the consent of the Editorial Office.

International Standard Serial Number (ISSN):
An International Standard Serial Number (ISSN) is an eight-digit serial number that is used to uniquely identify a serial publication of journals of all kinds on media and electronic print. All GATR Journals have a print and online ISSN issued by the National Library of Malaysia and Ministry of Home Affairs, Malaysia. GATR Global Journal of Business and Social Science Review carries the ISSN number 2180-0421 and E-ISSN 2289-8506.
